Modernizing a software company’s web presence

Icaros creates aerial images by manufacturing lenses, planning flight navigations, and developing software to stitch visual data points together. They needed an elevated web presence that matched their expertise and spoke to their wide range of clients, from international governments to local nonprofits.

To start, we clarified the goals and audience of the site. I reorganized the information architecture to provide intuitive navigation and purposefully paired their large aerial images with ample white space to add contrast and focus. The language is humanized for the homepage and top-level pages, while getting progressively more technical the deeper into the site one became. Lastly, this site was built through WordPress to allow the Icaros team to easily update content.
